My ultimate goal is to give students the tools and control over their own learning. I struggled with lack of confidence with math myself, and always felt like I was really "not good at this" when I encountered any challenge. This is a common feeling with students and my goal is to help students push through feelings of insecurity. Despite what movies imply, no one completely understands math immediately. It requires work and even the smartest and most math-oriented people spend a lot of time studying.

​​I am certified in middle and high school math education and I have a bachelors degree in mathematics. I have many years of experience teaching and one-on-one tutoring in all math subjects from elementary math through college calculus and advanced topics.
